Things are set for our annual summer outing.  We plan to tour the Samsung Experience at the Time Warner Center, have lunch, and then visit the Sony Wonder Technology Labs.  The Samsung Experience is a guided tour so we should meet no later than 10:45 on the 3^rd floor of the Time Warner Center in front of Samsung. 

If you are interested in joining please RSVP.  We will plan lunch (on SIDMAC) based on the level of attendance.  There are plenty of local restaurants in the 20 min walk between Sony and Samsung if everybody is interested in walking.   

Sony Wonder Technology is a self guided tour, and we have reserved 20 tickets for 3:30 that day.  We can make adjustments based on attendance up to 7 days in advance.  However keep in mind that Sony may sell out, so please RSVP early to ensure a ticket.  

Directions:

Samsung is located on the 3^rd floor of the Time Warner Center at W 59^th St and Broadway, easily accessible by the A, B, C, D and 1 trains at the 59^th St Columbus Circle Stop. 

Public Transportation from Grand Central – 3 easy options

1. Take the subway Shuttle to Times Square and transfer to the uptown 1 to 59^th St/Columbus Circle.
2. Or walk East on 42^nd to 6^th Ave to catch the uptown B/D to 59^th St/Columbus Circle.
3. Or take the M104 bus from 42^nd to Columbus Circle.

Driving – There is no long term parking available near Samsung.  Please check http://nyc.bestparking.com/index.php for garage pricing and locations.  There are several garages in the area that offer decent early bird (in before 10 or 11 AM) rates.
